01Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Task4Task, an AI-powered marketplace for getting things done — paid or by skill exchange — including its mobile applications and websites (together, the “Platform”).

The Platform is operated by [Operating entity — to be finalized] (“Task4Task”, “we”, “us”). Task4Task is developed by DevDevise, a SysMalla company.

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Platform.

02Eligibility

To use the Platform you must be at least [Minimum age — to be finalized] and able to enter into a binding agreement where you live.

The Platform is launching in Pakistan first. Where the Platform is available, and any further eligibility requirements, are [To be finalized].

03Account responsibilities

You are responsible for the information you give us, for keeping it accurate and up to date, and for keeping your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You may hold [Number of accounts per person — to be finalized]. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

04Using Task4Task

Task4Task connects people who need something done with people who can do it. It has two workspaces — Hiring and Getting Work — and you can use either or both.

Task4Task provides the Platform. Unless these Terms say otherwise, Task4Task is not a party to the agreements people make with each other on it, and does not itself perform the tasks. [The legal characterization of the Platform’s role — to be finalized.]

05Creating and posting tasks

You can describe a task by voice or text. AI-assisted features may help structure your request into a task. You are responsible for reviewing what is produced, and for the accuracy and lawfulness of any task you publish.

Task content is reviewed before publishing and may be flagged if it is unclear, incomplete or potentially inappropriate. We may decline, remove or limit tasks that breach these Terms. [Content moderation procedure — to be finalized.]

06Hiring and getting work

Hirers decide whom to hire. People getting work decide which tasks to propose on. Recommendations shown on the Platform are suggestions; they are not a decision, an endorsement or a guarantee of anyone’s suitability.

Each user is responsible for deciding whether a task, a proposal or a person is right for them.

07Proposals and contracts

A proposal is an offer to do a task, on stated terms. When a hirer accepts a proposal, its terms become a contract between the hirer and the person doing the work, visible to both on the Platform.

You must carry out contracts you enter into in good faith. [Whether and how proposals may be edited after they are sent, and the legal status of contracts formed on the Platform — to be finalized.]

09Barter agreements

In a skill exchange (barter), a task is done in exchange for another task rather than for money. Each side’s work is the other side’s payment, on the terms of the agreement.

Each side is responsible for doing their part as agreed. [How barter agreements are valued, enforced and resolved — to be finalized.] [Tax treatment of barter, if any — to be finalized.]

10Payments and fees

Fees for using the Platform: [To be finalized]. No fee applies unless it is set out in these Terms or shown to you before you agree to it.

Supported payment methods and payment providers: [To be finalized]. Taxes: [To be finalized].

11Cancellations

Cancellation rules for tasks, proposals and contracts: [To be finalized].

Refunds: [To be finalized]. Nothing on the Platform promises a refund unless these Terms provide for it.

12Reviews and ratings

After a job, each side can review the other. Hiring reputation and working reputation are kept separately.

Reviews must be honest and relate to the work that took place. You must not offer or accept anything in return for a review, or post reviews about work that didn’t happen. [Review moderation and removal rules — to be finalized.]

13User-generated content

You keep ownership of the content you post: tasks, proposals, messages, profiles, reviews, photos, videos, files and voice notes.

You give Task4Task permission to host, display and process that content as needed to operate the Platform, including to show it to the people you interact with and to use it as evidence in a dispute. [Scope and duration of this licence — to be finalized.]

You must have the right to post what you post.

14AI-assisted features

The Platform uses AI to help understand requests (in English, Urdu or Roman Urdu), structure tasks, flag missing or unclear information, review content before publishing, and recommend tasks and people.

AI output can be wrong or incomplete. You remain responsible for reviewing and editing what AI produces before you rely on it. AI does not publish tasks, hire anyone, accept or reject proposals, or make contract decisions on your behalf.

15Physical tasks and location services

For physical tasks, directions open in Google Maps, which is a third-party service with its own terms. Task4Task does not provide navigation itself.

During physical execution, Task4Task shares the worker’s live location with the hirer, and the hirer confirms the worker’s arrival. [When location sharing begins and ends, and when an exact address is revealed — to be finalized.]

You are responsible for your own safety and conduct when meeting in person.

16Prohibited activities

You must not use the Platform to:

  • post tasks or content that are unlawful, harmful, deceptive or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • misrepresent who you are, your skills, or the work you have done;
  • harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone;
  • post false reviews or manipulate reputation;
  • interfere with the Platform’s security or operation, or access it by automated means without permission;
  • [Further prohibited categories of tasks and conduct — to be finalized].

17Trust, verification and safety

The Platform offers identity verification and shows a verified mark for verified people. Verification is one signal among several; it does not guarantee anyone’s identity, conduct, skills or the outcome of any work.

Task4Task does not claim any security or privacy certification. [Background checks, insurance and any safety commitments — to be finalized; none is offered unless stated here.]

18Disputes

If the two sides of a job can’t agree, the job can go to a dispute on the Platform, with the job’s messages, files and submissions as evidence.

[Dispute procedure, who decides, and the effect of a decision — to be finalized.] [Disputes between you and Task4Task, and how they are resolved — to be finalized.]

19Platform availability

We work to keep the Platform available, but it may be unavailable at times, for example for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Features may change as the product develops. [Service levels, if any — to be finalized.]

20Intellectual property

The Platform, including its software, design and the Task4Task name and marks, belongs to [Rights holder — to be finalized] or its licensors. These Terms don’t give you any right to them beyond using the Platform as intended.

Ownership of work produced under a contract between users: [To be finalized].

21Privacy reference

How Task4Task collects and uses personal information, including location, will be set out in a Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy has not yet been published. [Link to the Privacy Policy — to be added when published.]

22Limitation of liability

[Limitation of liability — to be finalized with legal counsel.]

23Termination

You can stop using the Platform at any time. [How to close an account — to be finalized.]

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. [Notice, appeal and the effect of termination on open contracts — to be finalized.]

24Changes to the terms

We may update these Terms as the Platform develops. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. [How and when users are notified of material changes — to be finalized.]

25Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing law — to be finalized]. [Courts or forum — to be finalized.]

26Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the Contact page. [Legal notice address — to be finalized.]
